Linux Foundations at Kolam Ayer Community Club is the first experiment behind Boole Society. Practical learning, with time to try things, ask questions and work through what happens.

Good education
should not require
permission.
Some people know a subject inside out. Others would love the chance to learn it. The idea is simple: put them in the same room.
Make room for practice, difficult questions and the judgement that comes from doing. Help people become independent learners, able to find their own way and, if they choose, help someone else.

Curiosity is enough.
George Boole learned and taught at the Lincoln Mechanics' Institute. His experience is the inspiration: useful knowledge shared beyond the boundaries of formal education.
Linux is only
the beginning.
The curriculum grows with
the people who join us.
Computing is our starting point, not our boundary. Science, mathematics and engineering are possibilities, not a promised programme list.
What comes next depends on the people willing to teach, and the practical support to make it happen.
